So you're interested in Chemical Engineering? Well you're in the right place!
Here at Surrey, our Chemical Engineering society has a fantastic reputation. Not only is it one of the longest running courses at the University, with some of the most inspiring lecturers, it also boasts a highly active and sociable society. This is a winning combination in it's own, but on top of this, Surrey has an absolutely beautiful campus, which really takes the struggle out of a hungover 9am lecture (Of which there'll be a many!).
If you enjoy meeting new people and making friends, then come and join us here at Surrey. Our society is the definition of the phrase "work hard, play hard." Chemical Engineering is a way of life, not just a career.
Some very successful graduates have done extremely well after leaving Surrey University with many going to work for enormous engineering companies. Examples being: BP, Exxonmobil, GlaxoSmithKline, Fluor, Foster Wheeler, KBR and Shell. To name but a few. The current senior Vice-President of Exxonmobil graduated from the University in 1984, and the degree excelled him up through the company.
Who's to say you can't be like them?
